Abstract
The Faculty of Maritime and Logistics Studies of Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven/Oldenburg/Elfleth is developing the distance-education, post-graduate study course of “Maritime Management Online” (MMO). The co-operative programme of work and study targets nautical officers on board sea-going ships and junior management-level staff at companies in the maritime and logistics area. This paper describes an evaluation concept for the learning modules offered during the MMO pilot and testing phase. It highlights ways of integrating existing instruments into the specific needs of post-graduate, on-the-job study programmes.
